Andover長波通/短波通邊緣濾光片通常被稱為長波通（LWP）和短波通（SWP）濾光片，這些陡峭邊緣濾光片以它們在反射和透射區(qū)域之間的高轉(zhuǎn)換率來區(qū)分。這種高轉(zhuǎn)換率使它們成為熒光應(yīng)用中的發(fā)射濾光片和測光中的順序分選濾光片的*選擇。它們也非常有用，作為雜散光或裝飾濾光片，以消除任何不希望的近帶輻射。所有的Andover 長波/短波濾光片都由堅硬、耐用的*表面介電涂層構(gòu)成，并能承受與任何高質(zhì)量光學(xué)元件相關(guān)的正常清洗和處理。它們的薄膜結(jié)構(gòu)基本上是一個改良的四分之一波疊加，使用干擾效應(yīng)而不是吸收來隔離它們的光譜帶。與濾光片玻璃不同，濾光片對波長偏移不敏感，這些濾光片的波長隨入射角的增加而變短。該特性在需要微調(diào)50%切割或截止波長的應(yīng)用中是有用的。所有標準邊緣濾光片可在50nm增量從400nm到1000nm。可以定制邊緣濾光片，并將按要求報價。
